Sharon has been a client at the Whole Approach for the past 5 years. She has given most classes a try and has learned that she loves Yoga and Pilates and Tai Chi. She also participates in TRX, CIZE, and Strength & Conditioning to give herself a comprehensive work out for the mind and the body.
After her retirement from St. Ann’s Nursing Home where she worked as a Diet Technician, Karen approached her about teaching a Silver Sneakers class and incorporating her experience with seniors and nutrition. The seed was planted and the idea became reality. Sharon got her certification in CPR/AED and as a Group Exercise Instructor. In June of 2015 Sharon began teaching the Classic Silver Sneakers group on Wednesday mornings. She strives to keep the classes upbeat and fun while providing a well-rounded workout. Each class closes with a “nutrition tip” or “food for thought” of the day. Sharon believes “Through an active life style and healthy eating we can each be our own personal best”.
