Lucy VanOrden

Lucy has been involved in the Dance & Fitness Industry for over 30 years in a professional capacity! She began as a student; then as a teacher, trainer and mentor. Through the years Lucy has continued to expand her knowledge of fitness/well-being and dance. She is a life-long learner! Lucy is a Master Instructor at the Merritt Clubs in Maryland, Vacation Coaches Mexico, Guest Dance Instructor for Texas and Florida conventions. Lucy is a Certified Personal Trainer & Group Exercise Instructor, certified through AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) Lucy National presenter/examiner and Continuing Education provider for this International Organization as well and recently added Regional Master Trainer for BOSU! She is a professional Choreographer for High School and College musicals, a Dance Coach for Professional Soccer Dance Team and a Trainer for High School sports teams. Her Accomplishments include: Mrs. Empire State 1987, First Place winner on the National Television show; Dance Fever -1983, a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, Director and Owner of the NY DANCE OLYMPICS AND THE DANCEARAMA for 15 years. She believes that that when working with clients and/or teaching classes, you must “Educate to motivate as you can always gain knowledge from all generations”!
