Lisa began exercising 18 years ago when prescribed by her doctor to treat pain and other physical complications. Within a few months she was pain free, didn’t need medication and experienced
first-hand that through exercise and movement the body can help heal itself.
Amazed by the results, Lisa kept it up, intrigued by how the body works she began educating herself and received a national group exercise certification through NETA and began teaching.
Within the last 15 years, Lisa has taught in multiple fitness studios, athletic clubs, corporate facilities, and the YMCA. She currently holds certifications through Yogafit, IM-X Pilates, SilverSneakers, The YMCA of the USA, and the Aquatic Exercise Association.
Lisa believes that exercise is much more than what it appears to be on the surface. It’s about moving your muscles, ligaments, and tendons, circulating blood, detoxifying the body and challenging yourself but it’s also about, caring for yourself, knowing when to step back and taking time to relax. Balancing the two; moves you towards complete strength, both physically and mentally.
