Class Descriptions

Group Yoga-Level 1 A 45 minute gentle form of yoga; that will open the body slowly, improving range of motion while addressing back care, breath & restoration. (Gentle)

Group IM=X Pilates A 45 minute class that will teach the participant the fundamentals of IM=X and the series of exercises that enhance overall health of the core and postural muscles.  A perfect start for Pilate’s students.  This class is taught at an intermediate level and is appropriate for the beginner to advanced student.  Modifications and encouragement to work at one’s own pace are provided to each group enabling everyone to feel successful

Group Core Craze This is a fun 45 minute class targeting abdominal muscles to not only give you a smaller waistline, but stronger spinal support muscles, and better posture. Core Craze will include both body weight and equipment work. Shoes are not required for this class

Group Active “Hot” Yoga In this 45 minute class you can expect a heated room that will combine the use of a powerful breathing technique with the physical style of power yoga; which will mindfully blend strength & flexibility.

Group “Sample Cycle This is a 45 minute class geared towards a great cardiovascular workout that will include the use of heart rate zones for a fun and energetic workout.

Group Mind-Body Combo This 45 minute class combines the ancient art of Tai Chi, that uses gently flowing movements to increase balance, coordination, flexibility, muscle strength, and relieve stress; with a gentle form of yoga; that will open the body slowly, thus improving range of motion

Group Low Impact Cardio with Muscle Conditioning This 45 minute class will be a class will provide all with a variety of formats, all created to get your heart & lungs working! Formats like cardio dance & Aerobics will be used with a body conditioning finish. Music will set in the 120 beats per minute for all to enjoy

Group SilverSneakers® Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Group SilverSneakers® Classic Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Small Group Strength & Conditioning Are you interested in learning proper alignment and body mechanics involved in high intensity work outs, all while getting a great workout – this class is for you; with our answer to Cross fit type work outs, that use full body exercises, kettle bells, medicine balls & battling ropes. Using exercise combination that are safe, specific and challenging!

Small Group TRX Is a suspended resistance system that is an amazing, results orientated tool to help you build muscular strength & endurance. Because you are basically lifting your body weight against gravity while standing up, you naturally endure more muscular recruitment including the critical core muscles.  What is unique about this system is the idea behind muscular balance & stabilization that is needed to perform simple exercises.  Not to mention the balance system of the body is continuously challenged.  What does this mean to you, an accelerated training program, that can provide more strong, stable and balanced body

Small Group BARRE Is an amazing strengthening & stretching program that utilizes the ballet barre or chair for a very powerful workout that resembles standing Pilates, strength and flexibility training!  This program can help our clients resume & Keep their range of motion, flexibility and strength! 

Small Group Yoga-Level 2 This yoga will be a blend of levels 1 & 2, which will be an awaking form of yoga with more attention to deepening the postures. (Modified sun salutations, some standing poses combined with seated and deep tissue poses-still gentle, but deeper)

Small Group Strength Training Are you interested in learning proper alignment and body mechanics involved in lifting weight, all while getting a great workout – this class is for you.  Weights, kettle bells, medicine balls, bars are a few of the tools you will use.  Learn weight training exercises that are powerful-yet safe, specific and challenging!

Small Group Cycle This type of smaller group Cycle training will encompass all the great cardiovascular benefits of a solid cycle class, along with the ability of the Instructor to customize based on group goals that will include the use of heart rate zones for a fun and energetic workout.
